Java Backend Developer (m/w/d)

You are responsible for the design, creation, and implementation of our software. This may involve new software that needs to be designed from scratch, as well as modifications and updates to existing software. Specifically, it involves:

• Research, design and management of software and subsequent evaluation
• Identifying the required changes and developing them
• Writing and implementing software code
• Maintaining and upgrading existing software
• Training employees to use of the software

• You have already worked for several years in the development of technologically challenging solutions in the backend and ideally already had contact with microservice architectures.
• Your backend skills include the confident use of Java including Spring Framework, Maven, Gradle, JPA, Hibernate, JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber, and databases such as Oracle and Mongo.
• You have general knowledge of HTTP, Docker, Kubernetes, scripting with PowerShell and Bash.
• You use familiar programming techniques such as the clean code principle, automated testing, and agile methods.
• As a problem solver, your strengths are your organized attitude and your enthusiasm to take on new challenges.
• You are not afraid to ask critical questions and enjoy mentoring others in the team.
• You are comfortable communicating in English, both verbally and in writing, and can work effectively with colleagues in person as well as remotely.
